Celebrities support Local Designers Movember Cause
Celebrities are getting behind Gold Coast brothers and Greef Clothing designers Troy, Jay and Ryan Cochrane during their Movember campaign to raise awareness for prostate cancer and men’s health.
Greef Clothing have created 3 t-shirt designs for both men and women for the Movember Campaign and are hoping to sell over 500 shirts and raise $10,000 for the charity.
“This year alone 20,000 men will be diagnosed with prostate or testicular cancer and we encourage everyone to get involved, make a donation and help find a cure,” Troy Cochrane said.
Xtreme Karting have secured a limited edition Greef Clothing Grow the Mo t-shirt signed by some of the best V8 Supercars and World Karting drivers in the world to be auctioned off for the Movember Australia foundation.
Australian athletes and Bathurst winners Chaz Mostert and Paul Morris as well as Jamie Whincup, have all reached out in support of the campaign by signing the t-shirt currently available for auction.
Gold Coast local and winner of the Bathurst Carrera Cup and taking second place at the GC600, Shae Davies showed his support for the Movember campaign by becoming an ambassador and signing the tee for auction.
“I feel very proud to be involved with such an important cause. I hope everyone will show their support by purchasing a t-shirt or making a donation,” Shae Davies said.
Greef Clothing has been very lucky in the support they have received from both the local community and Australian talent. Ellynie May Rasborek from televisions Beauty and the Geek has even showed her support for the cause.
The campaign will run throughout the month of November and close with a Pool Party at Coolangatta hotspot Komune. Hot Tomato radio host Jake Chapman along with 1029er & former Big Brother winner Trevor Butler will be the MC’s for the event, which will feature a fashion show, mo competition and prizes.
Movember is a worldwide organisation that encourages men to grow their moustaches during the month of November to raise awareness for men’s health and help find a cure for cancer.
